KYIV, March 6 – A fire broke out in Khmelnytsky region at night after hitting a substation of a regional power supply company, which led to the shutdown of several power lines, the Ministry of Energy reported on Wednesday morning.
According to the ministry, this led to the loss of power to more than 14,000 consumers in 30 populated areas, but as of 8:00 am the fire was extinguished and more than 2,500 consumers remained without electricity. Restoration work continues.
