KYIV, March 5 - All personnel loyal to Ukraine has left the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant in February under pressure from Russia, Energoatom President Petro Kotin said Monday.
As of early January, there were 360 employees working at the nuclear power plant that had remained loyal to Ukraine, Kotin said.
"Our experienced personnel are no longer there,” Kotin said at a meeting dedicate to 2-year anniversary of Russia taking over the plant according to a statement released by Energoatom. “During February, the occupiers took out the last of our people who remained loyal to Ukraine and guaranteed safety at the station."
