KYIV, Feb 28 – Thanks to the stable operation of the energy system, industry in January of this year increased electricity consumption by more than 27% compared to the same period last year.

“This winter, Ukrainian industry consumes significantly more electricity than in the past. In particular, in January, enterprises consumed 27.2% more than in the same period last year (2.4 billion kWh versus 1.9 billion kWh) and 82 million kWh more than in the previous winter month,” the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported on February 28.
