KYIV, Feb 23 – The maritime corridor created by the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Danube has ensured the export of almost 26 million tons of cargo since August 2023, of which more than 18 million tons are products of Ukrainian farmers, the Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development (Ministry of Reconstruction) reported on Facebook on Friday.
A total of 854 vessels were sent from the ports of Big Odesa to 42 countries.
The total volume of cargo sent along the maritime corridor and along the Danube since August amounted to 30 million tons. 93% of the products of Ukrainian farmers are exported through these routes, the ministry said.
