MUNICH, Feb 16 – Germany will provide military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of EUR 1.7 billion in 2024 and EUR 6 billion in the following years, German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz said at a press conference in Berlin on Friday.
"In general, Germany has allocated or committed to allocate EUR 28 billion for military assistance," he said.
Today, Scholz noted, "we are preparing a new level – this is EUR 1.1 billion. These are 36 armored howitzers and wheeled howitzers from industrial stocks, 120,000 pieces of ammunition, as well as two Skynex systems and missiles for IRIS-T," Scholz said.
