KYIV, Feb 16 – The Ministry for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), five regional state administrations and 12 communities signed memorandums of cooperation on Friday, which will provide affordable housing for displaced people and war-affected people.
As the IOM press service reported on Friday, the project, financed by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development through the German Development Bank, provides for the construction of up to 2,000 apartments for approximately 6,000 people in the cities of Khotyn and Chernivtsi in Chernivtsi region, Kolomyia in Ivano-Frankivsk region, Irpin and the village of Horenka in Kyiv region, Agronomichne, Ladyzhyn and Khmelnyk in Vinnytsia region, Stary Sambir, Drohobych and Kamianka-Buzka in Lviv region.
