KYIV, Feb 14 – Ukraine is working with the European Commission to create a mechanism that would make the blockade unacceptable, Deputy Minister of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development Serhiy Derkach said at the Global Outlook: A Winning Vision conference organized by the European Business Association (EBA) on Wednesday.

"The issue of blocking the border is one of the key ones that we are now raising with the European Union and the European Commission. There must be some kind of fuse so that the border cannot be blocked. That is, those roads that lead to checkpoints should be considered critical for the functioning of the European Union, for countries where there is a border, and they cannot be blocked," Derkach said.
