KYIV, Feb 14 – The business activity index, after two months of stable indicators, decreased by 7 percentage points in January, to 43%, these are the results of the 21st issue of the New Monthly Enterprises Survey, conducted by the Institute of Economic Research and Policy Consulting (IER).
"In addition to the growing uncertainty associated with export prospects, surveyed enterprises also directly report a reduction in exports. Thus, in January, 34% of respondents had to reduce exports (in December there were 20%). The share of enterprises reporting an increase in exports decreased from 31% in December to 19% in January," the IER reported.
