KYIV, Feb 1 - Humanitarian demining is an important area of work for the future sowing campaign, said Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

“We are preparing for the third sowing campaign in wartime. Humanitarian demining is an important area of work. This year in the state budget for the first time, we have allocated UAH 3 billion for humanitarian demining programs. I have set the Ministry of Economy with other bodies to approve a plan for prioritizing mine clearance, as well as submit a resolution that will regulate the procedure for compensation to agricultural producers for mine clearance,” Shmyhal wrote on the Telegram channel following the meeting.
