KYIV, Nov 14 – A pilot project to introduce small modular reactors (SMRs) in Ukraine, launched in partnership with the United States, Japan and the Republic of Korea, can be implemented approximately within two to three years, Energy Minister Herman Haluschenko has said.

"The project must evaluate and demonstrate the technical capability, economic competitiveness, and feasibility of producing and commercializing hydrogen and ammonia using small modular reactors to generate clean, carbon-free energy," he wrote on his Facebook on Monday.
