KYIV, Feb 9 - The number of transactions with residential real estate in Ukraine in 2020 amounted to 486,283, which is 2.9% lower than the result of 2019, according to the report of the Ministry of Justice on the work of notaries last year.

According to the ministry, state and private notaries in 2020 signed 317,639 contracts for the sale of apartments and houses, which is 5.4% less than in 2019.

Also, 2,000 exchange agreements (21.9% less), 118,320 donation agreements (2.5% more), 2,109 life care agreements (more by 9.9%), 141 donation agreements, 2 annuities and 25,552 other alienation agreements were recorded.
