KYIV, Aug 6 – Ukraine's Ministry of Infrastructure has agreed with businesses to submit proposals to the government on resuming the operation of Ukrainian oil refineries, Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
"We agreed to present the vision and proposals of the Ukrainian businesses as for the resumption of the operation of oil refineries in Ukraine. We see the market growing and there is a high demand for high-quality bitumen for the construction of Ukrainian roads. And all this can be produced in Ukraine from imported raw materials," he said.
