KYIV, Feb 11 – Ukrainians increased debts for housing and utilities services in December 2018 by 14.4% from November 2018 to UAH 50.7 billion.
The State Statistics Service said the data are given without taking into account the occupied territory of Crimea and Sevastopol, as well as part of the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
According to statistics, in general in December 2018 Ukrainians paid UAH 10.7 billion for housing services, which amounted to 58.3% of the amount charged for this month (due to the repayment of debts of the previous periods). The population paid UAH 3.2 billion (120.5% of charges) for supply of electricity.
