KYIV, Feb 8 – The launch of 'green' auctions would make disadvantageous the application of feed-in tariffs for the launch of renewable energy facilities, expert of the Ukrainian Association of Renewable Energy Iryna Krymus said.
"After 2023, investors will be probably not interested in the feed-in tariff system, which will be valid only until the beginning of 2030. It would be more expedient for them to participate in auctions at a lower price, but to get a longer period of support for 20 years. The consumer will receive cheaper electricity from renewable energy facilities," she told the PV-magazine global edition.
