KYIV, March 20 - The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has sent a request to the United States to remove Ukrainian metal products from the effect of 25% import duties on Ukrainian steel products.
"I've passed a letter from [Prime Minister] Volodymyr Groysman to Counselor for Economic Affairs of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine J. Paul Schutte for the U.S. leadership regarding the exclusion of metallurgical products from the measures. It is necessary to ensure the access of products to the U.S. market, which is traditional for exports," Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Trade Representative of Ukraine Natalia Mykolska wrote on Facebook.
