MOSCOW, Feb 12 – Russia’s S7 Group is planning to complete all procedures relating to its acquisition of the Sea Launch complex next month, S7 Space said.
Sea Launch, based in California, uses Ukrainian space rockets Zenith-3SL to launch satellites from a platform floating in the Pacific Ocean.
The complex was originally 40%-owned and managed by Boeing, before the U.S. company had sold its stake to Moscow-based rocket company Energiya in 2010.
