KYIV, Dec 19 - Ukraine's gross foreign debt amounted to $117.35 billion as of early October 2017, or 2.06% more than at the beginning of July 2017, according to the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
In general, the country's gross external debt has increased by 3.27% since the beginning of the year.
According to the central bank, public debt rose by 4% in July-September 2017, to $38.962 billion, whereas NBU liabilities shrank by 0.24%, to $7.564 billion. Since the beginning of the year, these figures have reached 6.76% and 21.18% respectively. Government debt and NBU liabilities are represented exclusively by long-term borrowings.
