KIEV, Feb. 27 - The total sum of wage arrears in Ukraine rose 11% in January, the State Statistics Service reported.

According to the State Statistics Service, wage arrears on February 1, 2015 amounted to UAH 1.466 billion, or 5.1% of the monthly wage fund for January.

As of February 1, the wage arrears of economically active enterprises, establishments, and organizations totaled UAH 994.465 million, those of economically inactive entities UAH 154.504 million; and the debts of bankrupt enterprises were UAH 316.633 million.
