Kiev court nullifies decisions made by Crimean Supreme Council
Journal Staff Report

KIEV, March 4 – The District Administrative Court in Kiev has suspended a number of decisions by the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

A number of decisions were suspended on March 4 at the prosecutor's request in order to launch court proceedings, a source told Interfax-Ukraine.

In particular, the court suspended the Crimean Supreme Council's decisions to pass a no-confidence motion to the Council of Ministers and to dismiss it, to appoint Serhiy Aksionov as the Crimean prime minister, as well as to schedule a local referendum the status and powers of autonomy.
