European Commission may extend duty-free imports of Ukrainian goods
KYIV, Jan 17 - The European Commission, despite the protestations of European countries neighboring Ukraine, is preparing a draft resolution to extend the duty-free mechanism for Ukrainian exports through mid-2025, Ukrainian media reported, citing an interview with Polish Minister of Agriculture Czeslaw Siekierski in Business Insider.

Govt’s poor management decisions lead to UAH 9-bln in losses in 2019/20
KYIV, Jan 11 – The poor work of government agencies leads to an annual budget shortfall of about UAH 9 billion from the sale of alcoholic beverages, competent agencies in 2019-2020 and over nine months of 2021 also did not provide an effective system of control over production and circulation of alcohol and administration of the excise tax.

Ukraine begins analysis of Westinghouse fuel for VVER-440

Ukrainian govt to start monitoring food, fuel prices amid inflation fears
KYIV, Jan 12 – The Cabinet of Ministers instructed the State Statistics Service to monitor the prices of a number of food products, medical products and fuel on a daily basis, and the data obtained shall be sent to the Ministry of Economy for analysis, according to a government resolution adopted at a meeting on Wednesday.
