KYIV, Feb 19 - Gas stocks in Ukraine's underground storage facilities have declined by 5.9 billion cubic meters (bcm), to 11.07 bcm since October 24, 2017 when the current heating season began, through February 17, 2018, according to public joint-stock company Ukrtransgaz. |
Poroshenko calls for power plants to switch from anthracite coal
KIEV, Feb. 16 – President Petro Poroshenko has pointed to the need to immediately start the work to switch thermal power plants (TPP) from using anthracite coal, which is delivered from the occupied areas of Donbas, to gas coal, which is available in areas under government control. |
