KIEV, Aug. 18 - The decline in industrial production in Ukraine in July 2015 slowed to 13.4% year-on-year from 18.1% in June, 20.7% in May, and 21.7% in April, the State Statistics Service reported.


Coal stored at Ukrainian thermal plants reported down 2% last week

KIEV, Aug. 18 – Coal stocks at Ukrainian thermal power plant warehouses shrank by 2%, or 26,700 tons, to 1.280 million tons from August 10 to August 17, national energy company Ukrenergo reported.


Harvest of early grain crops is complete, Agriculture ministry reports

Eastern combat has cost $1.2 billion, says finance minister

KIEV, Aug 19 - Immediate losses from the ongoing combat activities in Donetsk and Luhansk regions have cost the government UAH 16 billion, or about $1.2 billion, Finance Minister Oleksandr Shlapak said.
