KIEV, Aug. 19 – The Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry has said that the harvesting of early grain crops from 10.1 million hectares has been finished and 36.7 million tons of grain has been threshed with an average yield of 36.2 centners per hectare.

Around 50% of harvested wheat is bread wheat.

"The general question [about] what the ratio between bread and fodder wheat is: around 50% to 50%, which is within the plans," Minister Oleksiy Pavlenko said at a briefing in Kiev on Wednesday.
