EBRD announces plan to buy 10-25% stake in Ukraine's Oschadbank
KIEV, April 21 – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development intends to buy a stake in state-owned Oschadbank in the amount of 10-25% depending on the price, and sell it in three or five years at one of the Ukrainian exchanges, EBRD Managing Director for Eastern Europe and the Caucasus Francis Malige has said. |
Changes to International Rail Traffic Agreement to take effect July 1

Interagency commission drops Ukraine antidumping PVC case against US
KIEV, April 23 – The interagency commission for international trade has decided to close an antidumping investigation into imports of suspension polyvinylchloride production (PVC-S) to Ukraine from the United States (foreign trade code 3904 10 00 00) without taking protective measures, reads a report in the Uriadovy Kurier newspaper.

BTR personnel carrier exports best defense deal, report says
KIEV, April 22 – The projects for the production of BTR-4 armed personnel carriers under the order of Iraq and BTR-3E1 armed personnel carriers for the Thai Army, as well as the modernization of An-32 light transport aircraft for the Indian Air Force, according to the Center for Army, Conversion and Disarmament Studies, have become the best export projects of Ukraine's defense industry in recent years. |
Antares rocket makes first commercial launch from Virginia pad
KIEV, April 22 – The new Antares medium-class space rocket, built for delivering cargo to the International Space Station by U.S. Orbital Science Corp as a part of international cooperation with the participation of Ukraine, made its first launch from a commercial spaceport in the U.S. on Sunday. |
