Ukraine to sell $2 billion more eurobonds to Russia this month Journal Staff Report
Ukraine plans to issue $2 billion in eurobonds in the framework of cooperation with Russia by the end of January. These will be two-year 5% coupon bonds, Ukrainian First Deputy Finance Minister Anatoliy Miarkovsky told reporters. Russia said in December that it would provide Ukraine with $15 billion financing in 2013-2014 by buying Ukrainian eurobonds. Analysts say this will effectively turn Russia into Ukraine's biggest creditor. Russia bought a first tranche of Ukrainian bonds worth $3 billion on December 23.
