Economy Ministry forecasts slowdown of industrial output growth Journal Staff Report
Ukraine's Economy Ministry has forecast a slowing down of Ukraine's industrial output growth to 10.4% from January to September 2007, while in January to August it was 10.9%. According to the ministry, the reduction of output growth was connected to high figures from the previous year and a price reduction tendency for the country's chief export commodities. As reported, industrial output growth accelerated to 6.2% in 2006, compared to 3.1% in 2005.
