Ukraine’s steel companies reduce revenue 29.7% on year in Jan-Apr Journal Staff Report
Ukraine's metallurgical enterprises in January-April this year reduced revenues from the export of ferrous metals by 29.7% compared to the same period last year, to $2.616 billion. According to statistics released by the State Customs Service on Wednesday, ferrous metals accounted for 15.65% of total merchandise export earnings over this period, compared to 19.5% in January-April 2021. In April, proceeds from the export of ferrous metals amounted to $255.145 million.
