Zelensky proposes to extend period of martial law in Ukraine Journal Staff Report
President Volodymyr Zelensky proposes to extend the period of martial law in the country. Corresponding bill No. 7389 "On approval of the presidential decree "On the extension of martial law in Ukraine" was registered in the Verkhovna Rada on Wednesday. The text of the document on the parliament's website has not been made public yet. Earlier, the President signed Decree No. 64/2022 "On the introduction of martial law in Ukraine." The MPs approved this document by 300 votes on February 24.
