A bill proposed by U.S. Democratic senators on sanctions against Russia in the event of its attack on Ukraine also provides for the intensification of military assistance to Kyiv. Thus, the text of the bill circulated on Wednesday notes that "during fiscal year 2022, the United States should give priority to the delivery of excess defense articles to Ukraine over the transfer of such articles to other countries and regions."
