Ukrainian steel firms in 2021 reduced consumption of natural gas by 5.2% compared to 2020 - to 1.85 billion cubic meters. According to the information of the Ukrmetalurgprom association, electricity consumption by metallurgical enterprises during this period amounted to about 11.40 billion kWh (102.8% from 2020). As reported, Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises in 2020 increased consumption of natural gas by 4.4% compared to the previous year - to 1.88 billion cubic meters, electricity consumption during this period amounted to about 11.1 billion kWh (99.4% from 2019).
