City of Odessa mulls Eurobond issue first time after default

KIEV, May 30 - Odessa, the third largest city in Ukraine, plans to issue a debut Eurobond issue amounting to UAH 335 million (about $66 million) at the end of June, Hennadi Nechayivsky, head of the securities department at the Odessa City Council, said at a press conference Wednesday.
“All the Finance Ministry permissions have been received and talks are underway with interested banking structures. I would like to believe that by the end of June we will have international borrowing.

Ukraine to tap capital markets for borrowing before July

KIEV, May 30 – Ukraine is to enter the foreign borrowing market by July, first deputy finance minister Vadym Kopylov said. "I think, [it will happen] before July," he told journalists Wednesday.
