KYIV, Nov 26 – Major General Christian Freuding, who is the Director of Planning and Command Staff of the Federal Ministry of Defense of the Federal Republic of Germany, has announced the transfer of IRIS-T air defense systems to Ukraine in the near future.

During a meeting with journalists in Kyiv, he emphasized the importance of his visit to Ukraine after the U.S. presidential election and on the eve of the German election. According to him, one of the key messages of this visit is that Germany's support continues.
