BRUSSELS, May 6 – Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleksandr Kamyshin has said that the main goal of the EU-Ukraine Defense Industries Forum is to attract financing for the procurement of weapons made by Ukrainian manufacturers for the country's defense forces.

He said this ahead of the forum in Brussels on Monday.

"Our main task is to find additional financing for the Ukrainian defense forces... We are looking for opportunities to finance procurement in Ukraine from Ukrainian manufacturers using European funds and provide our defense forces with these products made in Ukraine. We are talking about what can be produced this year," the minister said.
