KYIV, May 3 – The government of the United Kingdom has allocated GBP 16 million to initiate the implementation of the first 13 innovative energy projects in Ukraine under the InnovateUkraine program, announced Ukrainian Minister of Energy Herman Haluschenko.
"This is a very important event. We closely cooperate with the UK government in finding innovative energy projects in Ukraine, and they have allocated GBP 16 million, which will be provided to initiate the implementation of the first 13 projects selected through the competition. These are various projects aimed at ensuring a green transition," Haluschenko told journalists in Kyiv following a meeting with UK Foreign Minister David Cameron on May 2.
