KYIV, April 10 – Ukrainian wheat, which is in great demand on the world market, began to rise in price due to a decrease in the supply of products from key players who reduced their activity in anticipation of the new season's harvest, reported the Pusk analytical cooperative, created in within the framework of the Ukrainian Agrarian Council (UAC).
"Some 541,000 tons of wheat have already been exported in April. Some of the products that could not be exported in March will be sent from Ukraine in April. Therefore, this month we can reach the export level of 3 million tons. This will happen due to March contracts. Importers are ready to wait for the supply of wheat, the demand for which is growing. The increase in demand is supported by forecasts of a fall in production in the EU, the United States and Ukraine, that is, for all key exporters," the analysts said.
