KYIV, Feb 29 – The majority of respondents (57%) believe that the most important factor for Ukraine's success in the war against the Russian Federation is adequate support from Western countries with weapons, sanctions and financial assistance, as evidenced by data from a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) from February 17 through February 23, 2024.
"The majority of Ukrainians – 57% – believe that the most important factor for success is proper support from the West with weapons, finances, sanctions... Among respondents who list proper support from the West as the most important factor (if taken as 100%), 42% feel that "the West is getting tired of Ukraine and its support is weakening; the West wants to put pressure on Ukraine to make concessions to Russia," KIIS said in a press release published on its website on Thursday.
