KYIV, Feb 23 – Work has begun in Ukraine to create a methodology for calculating greenhouse gas emissions caused by military actions, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources reported.

"Today, Ukraine is the first in the world to develop a methodology for calculating greenhouse gas emissions from military operations seeking to bring the aggressor to justice. I hope that in the future this document will be recognized at the international level," said Minister Ruslan Strilets, whose words are quoted in the release on Friday.
