KYIV, Aug 12 – Ukrhydroenergo expects to sign a contract with the German companies Andritz Hydro and MAN Energy Solutions for the supply of a 1 MW electrolyzer for hydrogen production in September of this year, Ihor Syrota, General Director of the company, has said.

"As for hydrogen, we are very fruitfully cooperating with our German partners… We plan to sign a contract in September for the supply of a 1 MW electrolyser. They have a production time of 16 months, but we agreed that they will take the queue from someone and do it to us in six or nine months. Therefore, if we sign the contract in September, then in the first half of next year we will be able to implement this project at the Dnistrovska PSP," Syrota said in an exclusive interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
