KYIV, May 24 – The state-owned enterprise Artyomsol (Soledar, Donetsk region), the largest salt producer in Europe, has stopped its work for an indefinite period because of the military operations of Russian troops, acting director of the enterprise Viktor Yurin said in a commentary to Free Radio.

The enterprise does not work, it is standing idle, according to the order, until an indefinite time. The shelling is constant, the administrative building is partially destroyed. There were direct hits in the mines, the warehouse. The production process is impossible. We will not endanger people. Moreover, the majority of Soledar residents, employees of Artyomsol, have already been evacuated," the head of the enterprise said.
