KYIV, Dec 13 – Some 47.8% of Ukrainians would like to leave for permanent or temporary work in Germany, if they had the opportunity, according to the results of a study conducted by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation jointly with Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, on request the Institute for Central European Strategy within the framework of the special project Re: Open Zakarpattia.
So, according to the survey, 38.1% would go to work in the Czech Republic, 32.4% – Austria, 31.3% – Poland, 23.8% – Lithuania, 21.8% – Slovakia, 13.4% – Hungary, 7.8% – Romania, and 6.7% – Moldova. Some 32.7% of respondents said that they would not leave for work in any of these countries, and 0.6% found it difficult to give an answer.
