KYIV, Dec 2 – Parliament adopted bill No. 0051 on the ratification of the guarantee agreement between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank (EIB) under the project of Ukrenergo "Substation Reliability Enhancement Program " in the amount of EUR 136 million.

Some 303 MPs voted for the relevant legislative initiative of the head of state at the Wednesday meeting of the parliament.

According to the explanatory note to the bill, the guarantee agreement signed in Brussels by Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration vanna Klympush-Tsintsadze in May 2018 determines the security of payment obligations under the financial agreement between the EIB and Ukrenergo on the program to enhance the reliability of substations by government guarantee.
