KYIV, Nov 30 – Ukraine collected a fine of UAH 11 million from ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih for violating environmental regulations and increasing atmospheric pollution, the State Environmental Inspectorate said in a report.
The fine is the latest in a number of government’s attacks on the company, which is the largest foreign investor in the Ukrainian economy, since President Volodymyr Zelenskiy had been elected to office in April 2019.
