KYIV, Sept 11 – Mobile communications operator Kyivstar is expanding 4G technology in popular tourist places in Ukraine, including Lake Synevyr and the slopes of Hoverla Mount, the company's press service said on Friday.
Kyivstar said that in July near Lake Synevyr there were more than 9,000 subscribers who used the 4G network. Together they used 7,700 GB of traffic. This traffic volume, according to the operator, will be enough for seven months of continuous high quality video viewing. The average speed of mobile Internet here exceeded 20 Mbit per second.
