KYIV, Sept 10 – Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba during his visit to Romania discussed with Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu the development of economic cooperation, increasing trade and investment.
"The ministers decided to resume the meetings of the Joint Ukrainian-Romanian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation as soon as possible. The ministers devoted considerable time to discussing ambitious plans for cooperation in the energy sector. This is primarily about the export of electricity, the production and transportation of natural gas, as well as the production and transportation of hydrogen, in particular within the framework of the European Green Deal. To speed up the processing of projects, they agreed to create a separate Ukrainian-Romanian ad hoc group on energy," the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.
