KYIV, Aug 14 – The actual inflation rate in July exceeded the forecast published in the July 2019 Inflation Report, according to the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on Wednesday.

The deviation of the actual inflation rate from the projected level is due to higher than expected growth rates of prices for certain raw food products (10.3% year-over-year). At the same time, core inflation was in line with the NBU forecast: in July, it was 7.4% on an annualized basis, unchanged from the previous months.
