KYIV, Aug 7 – The initial registration of electric vehicles in Ukraine in January-July increased by 53% compared to the same period in 2018, to 4,035 units (3,742 cars and 293 commercial vehicles), the Ukrautoprom association reports.
At the same time, used cars still account for the lion's share (91%) of the primary electric car market.
The leader in the segment of passenger electric cars remains Nissan Leaf: for the seven months, cars of this model received Ukrainian numbers. Tesla Model S ranks second (318 registrations), while BMW i3 ranked third with 216 cars.
