KYIV, Aug 7 – The Finance Ministry and National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) should improve coordination on borrowing schedule to avoid sudden pressure on the hryvnia, the local currency, NBU Board Chairman Bohdan Danylyshyn said Wednesday.

The comments come as the hryvnia has been strengthening rapidly over the past three weeks against the U.S. dollar after the Finance Ministry had sold bonds to foreign investors.
