KYIV, Aug 7 – A Ukrainian cargo plane was destroyed in a missile attack at an airport in Misrata, Libya, on Monday while crew was evacuated to safety, the Foreign Ministry reported on Tuesday.

"As a result of the attack, the plane's tail was destroyed, the operator of the crew was slightly injured, and the passport documents of the air navigator were destroyed. The entire crew of the plane was evacuated to a safe place," the Foreign Ministry said.
