KYIV, July 15 – Electricity generation by all power plants of state-owned enterprise Energoatom in January-June 2019 increased by 6.5% compared to the same period of 2018, to 42.776 billion kWh.

According to the press service of the company, the target for production of electricity for this period was exceeded by 1%.

During this period, the power plants of the state-owned enterprise supplied 40.260 billion kWh of electricity to the market against 37.803 billion kWh in January-June 2018. The share of Energoatom in the total structure of electricity sold to state-owned enterprise Energomarket was 55.1%, and in the total structure of electricity production in the country some 53.6%.
