KYIV, July 15 – Ukraine increased exports of grain by 26.3% on the year to 50.4 million metric tons in 2018/2019 marketing year, up from 39. 9 million mt in 2017/2018, the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry reported Monday.

Specifically, corn exports totaled 29.82 million tonnes, shipments of wheat and wheat-and-rye blends totaled 15.6 million tonnes, while 3.7 million tonnes of barley and 87,800 tonnes of rye were exported during the period.

Ukraine also exported some 301,280 tonnes of flour, the ministry said.
